Friends of the APL Book Review - "Manual for Survival"

[For ages 18+] The book, subtitled "A Chernobyl Guide to the Future," by Kate Brown is called "a magisterial blend of historical research, investigative journalism and poetic reportage" by Economist. Local educator and activist Tom Ellis reviews the book.

 

The Friends of Albany Public Library host regular book reviews, author talks, and special presentations every Tuesday at 12:15 pm at the Washington Ave. Branch. These presentations are free and open to the public. No registration is required.
