Friends of the APL Special Program - "I'll Be Home: The Writings of Jim McGrath" In-Person

[For ages 18+] Editors Howard Healy and Darryl McGrath discuss the editorials, op-eds, and other compositions by memorable Times Union newspaperman Jim McGrath who died in 2013 as chief editorial writer. Healy currently works for the NYS Bar Association and retired from the Times Union in 2008. Darryl McGrath, Jim's widow, is and Albany journalist and author.

 

The Friends of Albany Public Library host regular book reviews, author talks, and special presentations every Tuesday at 12:15 pm at the Washington Ave. Branch. These presentations are free and open to the public. No registration is required.
