Coffee and Culture: The Keys to the Castle
Join us for an enchanting afternoon with Marina Vaysberg of the College of St. Rose! Marina will share some slides with us and reflect on her travel to Fonthill Castle, the home of American archaeologist, ceramist, scholar and antiquarian Henry Chapman Mercer. Built in the early 1900s, Fonthill Castle is an eclectic mix of Medieval, Gothic, and Byzantine architectural styles and is home to Mercer’s famed Moravian tiles that were produced during the American Arts & Crafts Movement.
