Featured Artist Presentation: Paul Miyamoto and the Internment of Japanese Americans

Join us for a presentation by featured Art at APL painter Paul Miyamoto where he will share the inspiration for his images of the “camp/internment” of naturalized and Americans of Japanese descent from 1941 to 1946. Paul's father, mother, two sisters, a brother and both grandparents were sent to Poston Camp in Arizona. Paul will be joined by Carolyn Callner, a Nisei and an internee at the Heart Mountain concentration camp in Wyoming.
