Free Book Exchange and Local Author Reading- The Black Women's Library In-Person
[For all ages] We invite all to join us for a Free Book Exchange to celebrate and center the writing of Black women. Snack, socialize, browse, and bring home books written by Black women. We will have books for all ages and of all genres. Pick a few up for yourself or to pass along to someone else. Feel free to bring books written by your favorite writers to share, donate, or exchange. Snacks will be provided.
We will also host local author Allison D. Williams, author of Full Circle: A Life Taken So A Life Could Live, who will talk about her process, read from her work, and have copies of her book that the library purchased to give away.
