North Albany Open Discussions: Making Sense of the ERA a half century later. In-Person
Those who picked the U.S. Senate in 1970 to grant women equal rights, a movement started in the 1920s, will lead a discussion of the ERA alongside officials of the NYS League of Women Voters as the constitutional amendment finds new life, and opposition, in the #MeToo age. All will have a voice in this roundtable discussion, no matter their age.
