The Book and Art Club In-Person
Join us for a joint program hosted by Albany Public Library and the Albany Institute of History and Art for an exciting book and art discussion. We'll focus on works held locally by the Albany Institute of History and Art and complementary books. Led by a museum curator and a librarian, this program will explore the intersection of books and art with examples, insight, and enjoyable conversation.
Our book for this month is The Queen's Gambit by Walter Tevis. Library cardholders can download the book for free from Hoopla: click here. The book is also available as an audiobook from Hoopla: click here. Our conversation about the book will be enhanced by a virtual slideshow of artwork and items curated by the Albany Institute of History and Art.
This is a virtual program where we'll gather via Google Meets. On the day before the program, a reminder will be emailed to you at the address you used to register; it will include the link for participation. We look forward to having you join us!
