Experimental Cartooning with Tabitha Online

[Teen/Adult] Presented in partnership with The Albany Barn: A  three week series on learning stylization to adhere to creativity in the cartooning world.
There are certain cartoons out there that you recognize the style of immediately-The Simpsons, for example, or the world of Bob's Burgers.  But how do those styles come to be?  What makes them so recognizable?  And how can you draw inspiration from those famous styles to create a style all your own?  Learn all of that and more in "Experimental Cartooning w/ Tabitha".  Follow along with Tabitha as she leads discussions and sketch sessions on how to understand and draw these styles, then take all that you've learned and been inspired by to draw yourself in a brand new style of your own creation!

Tabitha Heisch was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is currently residing at The Albany Barn. Her exploration in acrylics and aerosols often dive into deep divine feminine energy with mischievous undertones. Her shamanic patterns have you observing what can be found just beneath the surface of your perceptions. Program supplies are available for pick up at the Delaware Branch. Please call (518) 463-0254 to schedule an appointment (kits should be available by 1/15 subject to change and available as long as we are able to provide curbside service.*). **If you have any technical difficulties the day of the program please email info@albanybarn.org for immediate assistance.
