Snowy Science Storytimes and STEM Online

[For childeren ages 6-10 and their caregivers.]  Snowy Science Storytime and STEM

February 25: "Snow Science"

Every snowflake is unique!  Learn how snowflakes are formed and then make your own!

March 4: "Animals in the Snow"

Learn what animals do in the Winter and how to identify local animal tracks. We will make a yummy treat for backyard birds.

The first 40 registrations will have the option of picking up a kit for both sessions prior to the events.  Each kit contains the supplies to complete both the February 25 and March 4 programs.  When registering, only register the number of children needing a space.  Please include a phone number and email address when registering.  You can pick up a kit at the Delaware, Howe or Pine Hills branch.  After registering, call the branch where you would like to schedule your pickup.

We will start making appointments for participants to pickup their supply kits starting on 2/18/21. Pickups will be scheduled for 2/18-2/25/21.

The URL to the event will be emailed to you a few days before the program and early on Thursday, February 25 and Thursday, March 4. This program will not be live, but will premiere on our YouTube Channel at 3:30pm on the day of the event. (Can’t make it at that time? That’s ok! It’ll be available on YouTube afterwards.)

If you have any questions about registration, please call the Pine Hills Branch @ 518 482-7911.

If all spots are filled, you may still register to receive the link and be put on the waiting list.
