Bike the Branches!

Gather the family, hop on your bikes, and ride to several APL branches for our 2nd Bike the Branches ride.

Cyclists age 12+ are invited to participate in this free ride that travels to three of APL’s neighborhood branches over two hours.

MEET UP: 12:45-1:15pm

Convene at the Delaware Branch (331 Delaware Ave.) to check-in or sign-up for the ride.

DELAWARE TO BACH TO PINE HILLS | Departing at 1:15pm
Ride from the Delaware Branch (331 Delaware Ave.) to the Bach Branch (455 New Scotland Ave.) to the Pine Hills Branch (517 Western Ave.)
We will have a short water break at Bach Branch.

BIKE THE BRANCHES Celebration! | Until 3pm
Celebrate cycling in Albany, learn how the Albany Public Library is supporting mobility, and learn how to use the APL Bike Fixit stations!
In the Pine Hills Branch (517 Western Ave.) parking lot.

RETURN LAP 
Need to get back to Delaware Ave? Join the return lap from the Pine Hills Branch (517 Western Ave.) back to the Delaware Branch (331 Delaware Ave.)

If I drive to Delaware, can I park my car there?

You can park your car at the Delaware Branch during the ride. Riders should list their license plate number on a Parking Signup form before the ride begins.

If I drive to Delaware, can you help me to get back to Delaware Ave?

There will be an informal group ride back to the Delaware Ave branch, for anyone who parked a car there. No one should feel stranded!
