Art at APL: "Pieced Together" Opening Reception

Art at APL is back! Join us for the opening reception of our new exhibition curated by our friends at Opalka Gallery, and underwritten by the Friends and Foundation of Albany Public Library. "Pieced Together" showcases artists who transform discarded materials into new compositions. Whether through model making or collage, these artists find inspiration in scrap paper, fabric remnants, old maps, photos or magazines. The opening will also feature live music by Jazz for a Cause (Rich Humowitz, piano, Mike Germano, bass, Tim Coakley, drums).

Please note: The reception will be held outdoors and small groups will be permitted indoors to view the exhibition. Library programs are limited to City of Albany residents and registration is required. Attendees ages 2+ must wear a mask. Attendees from different households are required to maintain six feet of distance at all times. The library reserves the right to cancel or adapt the program as needed for weather or safety issues.
