Pop-up Library at the South End Night Market
[All ages] Come use the library while you buy local produce and goods, buy a meal, and support the local community! We will provide a pop-up library with new release books and DVDs that you can check out on your library card, along with information about upcoming library programs. And the market will provide so much more!
The South End Night Market is a weekly market operating every Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. on Warren Street between Philip and Grand Streets (in front of Youth FX and the South End Children's Cafe). The market is designed to support wealth building and community ownership in the South End. It is part of a community-wide collaboration and is supported directly by Siena College’s NExT service learning program. Benefit cards will be accepted and AVillage and Radix will provide incentives to neighborhood purchasers. All residents of Albany are welcome to this market.
The market will abide by NYS restrictions. Vendors are limited to farmers and prepared produce and goods vendors, and social distancing rules will be enforced. Patrons will be required to use masks and either wear gloves or use hand sanitizer stations. No food can be consumed on the premises.
