Dispel The Myths - Stop the Violence Book Club

Dispel The Myths - Stop the Violence Book Club Online

[For Adults]

Join us and the Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center for our new book club! We'll be working to dispel sexual assault myths and dismantle rape culture one book at a time. Bring your hearts and minds as we discuss the book and our world. Imagine a world without sexual violence….what are you doing to create that world? Our second selection will be the Pulitzer Prize nominatated  In a day's work : the fight to end sexual violence against America's most vulnerable workers by Bernice Yeung.

"In a Day's Work is a . . . much-needed addition to the literature on sexual harassment in the U.S. . . . [B]uilding a cross-class movement as Yeung shows, will mean learning to stop unseeing the working women around us."
The New York Review of Books
