Signing Youth Afterschool ASL Program Online

[For ages 9-14] In our after school program “Signing Youth” program, young people between the ages of 9-14 are given their own to space to learn ASL with their peers through fun learning activities. We will meet weekly from 4:30-5:00pm for 5 (30 minute) sessions. In these sessions, kids will learn the manual alphabet; shapes and numbers; names and colors; clothing and greetings; interesting facts about deaf culture; have finger spelling competitions; and play “Who Knows That Sign” games. This class includes a live experienced ASL Instructor, handouts listing all of the signs learned during the class, and videos embedded in the handouts (these videos include an instructor signing the vocabulary learned during the live class, which is an awesome practice tool that can be used again and again!). Space is limited, so registration is required.

Please note: This is the same Youth ASL class that ran September-October 2021.
