FFAPL Summertime Reading (and Movies) Sale
The Friends and Foundation of APL present our Summertime Reading (and Movies) Sale
Featuring hundreds of fictions books - mysteries, romance, science fiction and fantasy.
Plus CD's and DVDs too. Take them with you to the mountains where there is no WiFi.
All hardcovers, softcovers, CDs and DVDs are $1.
Pocket paperbacks are 2/$1.
Children's picture books are 3/$1.
CD Audio books are always FREE!
Come get your summer reading pile started, or look for that beloved book that you really want to take home and underline (because you can't do that with library books, you know.)
"Can I donate my books/CDs/DVDs to this sale?"
We are not accepting donations at this time, with one exception: We will accept cook books! Our summer book sale takes place at the Delaware Community Farmers Market and we never have enough cookbooks. So, bring us your cookbooks!
Our MEGA BOOK SALE will include materials discarded by the Albany Public Library this winter, and materials which were donated to the FFAPL last fall. We are bursting at the seams right now and need to sort and pare down all of the books that we have on hand.
We accept donations in the summer months when we operate our Tuesday Book Sales at the Delaware branch.
In the meantime, you can donate to Better World Books through the drop bins at Delaware and Pine Hills libraries. If you prefer to donate locally, you can donate to Friends of East Greenbush Public Library or Friends of Schenectady County Public Library.
