Telling Tails: Reading Hour with Pearl the Dog

Telling Tails: Reading Hour with Pearl the Dog In-Person

[Children 0-12 with an Adult] Join the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society at the Arbor Hill Public Library for a magical one-time event. Terry Bushey will be reading her book, Pearl's Journey in Search of a Home, a story inspired by her own dog. What's more, the star of the book Pearl, a certified therapy dog, will be at the library too! Pearl loves the calming effects of reading, just like many of the Humane Society's shelter animals do. That's why they have Telling Tails, a volunteer program at MHHS for children ages 5-17 to come and read to some of their adoptable animals. We hope you join us December 7th to meet Pearl and Terry, and also to learn more about the Telling Tails program!
